With Microsoft Translator’s Converse Mode, teachers can start a session and students can follow along in their home language—reading or listening on an iPad, Chromebook, or phone—so they never miss a lesson. It’s equally powerful for parent meetings, allowing families to engage in real time, in the language they’re most comfortable with. We make it easy for staff to get started right away, using devices they already have.
Enhance comprehension and engagement with PowerPoint's real-time captioning and translation features. During presentations, spoken words can be automatically transcribed and displayed as captions or subtitles in multiple languages, aiding middle school students and parents in understanding the content. Additionally, with the Present Live feature, attendees can view slides on their personal devices, access live subtitles, and navigate through the presentation at their own pace. These tools are invaluable for multilingual classrooms and inclusive family events, ensuring everyone stays connected and informed.
Whether it’s translating flyers, homework, or classroom updates, educators can use tools like Adobe Express, Canva, and Google Translate’s document feature to quickly create multilingual materials. We show teachers, parent coordinators, and office staff how to turn everyday documents into accessible resources for families—no extra tech or licenses required. It’s a simple shift that builds trust, clarity, and connection school-wide.
Available as onsite workshops or webinars. Sessions can be structured for full staff, small groups, or role-specific training (e.g., parent coordinators or ENL teams).
Designed for K–12 teachers, ENL/MLL specialists, office staff, and family-facing roles.
Each session is adapted to the school’s existing tools and community needs—no one-size-fits-all content.
Every NYC public school contributes to a District Comprehensive Education Plan (DCEP), and family engagement is a key priority. Spark Engage directly supports these goals by equipping staff with tools and strategies that improve access, communication, and inclusivity for multilingual families.
